Join our team as a Travel RN in the Observation Unit at a leading acute-care hospital in Marquette, MI. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient care in a variety of specialties, including Med Surg. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of their patients.
Position Information:
- Role: RN
- Specialty: Observation patient types
- Shift: 12 Hour Shifts (19:00-07:30)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 72 per pay period, 0.9 FTE
- Weekend Hours: Must work weekends/holidays
- Call Requirements: Nothing mandated
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale Competency, Tele/ECG Competency. Optional: TNCC, ENPC, MI State License.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg experience required; telemetry experience preferred.
Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Patients may include those with chest pain, asthma exacerbation, TIA, abdominal pain, urinary issues, blood sugar issues, DVT/PE, cellulitis, post-procedural monitoring, and minor trauma.
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 10
- Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:5, no defined ratios
- Equipment: Cardiac monitor
- EHR: Cerner
- Patient Population: Adult (>18 years old)
Dress Code: Scrub color: galaxy blue. Please adhere to the dress code and attendance policies as outlined.
