Join a leading acute-care hospital as an Occupational Therapist specializing in Rehabilitation. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient-centered care. We are looking for dedicated professionals to provide high-quality therapy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients.
• Conduct assessments and reassessments of patients with various diagnoses.
• Implement treatment plans, including patient and family education.
• Assist patients with lifting and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Utilize adaptive equipment and perform cognitive assessments as needed.

Requirements:

• 3 years or more of Acute Hospital experience is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Maryland OT state licensure is required upon submittal.
• Experience with CVA rehabilitation, dementia/Alzheimer's, spinal cord injury, and upper-extremity conditions is required.
• Experience with hip fractures/total hip replacements and knee injuries/total knee replacements is required.
• Experience treating acutely ill patients with a variety of diagnoses is required.
• Ability to float within skillset as needed.
• One pre-approved time-off request is permitted per contract.

Additional Information:

• Orientation consists of approximately 40 hours or one week of training.
• This position is eligible for auto offer.
• Scrub color: Wine/Burgundy.
• Charting system: PowerChart/Cerner.
