If you are a dedicated Respiratory Therapist looking for a travel opportunity in Asheville, North Carolina, we invite you to join our team at a leading acute-care hospital. This facility is recognized for its commitment to clinical excellence and patient safety.
As a Respiratory Therapist in the Emergency Department (ER), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients. This position requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a North Carolina Respiratory License, along with certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Candidates with NRP certification will be given preference.
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 854
- Number of Staff: 120
- Patient Ratios: 10 - 25
- Type of Equipment: GE R860 Adult vents, Draeger Infant/Peds vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 Non-invasive device, Vapotherm, and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices.
- EMR: Cerner
Typical Hiring Profile:
- Must Have: North Carolina Respiratory License, RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Preferred: NRP
Best Personality Fit: Candidates who are adaptable and can work across all Critical Care units and floors will excel in this role.
Dress Code: Scrub Color - Medium Gray/Pewter
Weekends and on-call shifts will vary, with at least 4 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule.
