As a Travel RN in the Mother Baby Unit, you will be part of a dedicated team in a 34-bed unit that focuses on providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns. With a patient ratio of 1:3-4 couplets, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of families during a critical time.
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 34 private couplet rooms
- Number of Staff: 78
- Day Shift: 1 charge, 11 RNs, 1 PCT/secretary
- Night Shift: 1 charge, 11 RNs, 1 PCT/secretary
- Patient Ratios: 1:3-4 couplets
- Type of Equipment: Alaris pumps, Bilirubin blankets/lights
- EMR: Cerner
Typical Procedures:
- Circumcisions
Best Personality Fit:
- Team player who loves to teach
Required Certifications:
- BLS
- NRP
Preferred Skills:
- Mother Baby experience
- Travel experience
- Caring for patients on Magnesium Sulfate post-delivery
- STABLE certification
