Unit Information:
- Location: Adult Psychiatric Unit
- Number of Beds: 9
- Staffing: Day Shift - 2 RNs, 2 Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs); Night Shift - 1 RN, 2 BHTs
- Patient Ratios: 5-9
- Type of Equipment: Vital signs machine, Hoyer lift, glucometer, IVs, bladder scanner, bed alarms, chair alarms, crash cart
- EMR: Cerner
Typical Hiring Profile:
- Must Have: Behavioral Health and Medical Experience, caring and compassionate demeanor, assessment skills, ability to work well on a team, critical thinking.
- Preferred: Ability to de-escalate patients, flexibility.
Typical Procedures Performed: Vital signs, rapid response, code blue, bladder scans, blood draws.
Best Personality Fit: Caring, compassionate, patient, team player.
Required Certifications: BLS.
Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs with a white top and navy blue pants or all white.
Weekend Requirements: Weekend shifts required; no on-call duties.
