Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN specializing in ICU Float. This position is based in Portland, ME, and is ideal for dedicated professionals looking to enhance their skills in a dynamic environment. We are seeking an experienced RN with a focus on outstanding patient care and effective team communication.
Position Information:
- Role: RN
- Specialty: ICU (MICU, CICU, Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU)
- Shift: 19:00-07:30, 12 Hours
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 48
- Weekend Hours: 75% weekends required
- Call Requirements: None
- Years of Experience: 3 years of ICU experience, 1 year travel experience
- Float Requirements: Float to Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, CTICU based on HCP experience
- Patient Ratios: 1:2 (1:3 in IMC)
- Equipment: Impella 5.5 preferred, Balloon Pump preferred, EVD
- EMR: EPIC
Hiring Profile:
- Must Have Skills/Experience: 3 years of ICU experience, 1 year travel experience required
- Preferred Skillset/Experience: 3 years of ICU experience, 1 year travel experience
- Type of Patients on Unit: Basic ICU patients (sedated, intubated & pressors); no high complexity patients unless competencies are met
- Personality Fit: Must be focused on outstanding patient care, team communication, and personal excellence. Flexibility with assignments is essential.

- Scrub Color: Non-specific
- Unacceptable Attire: Open-toed shoes (no crocs), jeans, clothing with large logos/prints, or profanity.
