Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Houston, TX. This exciting contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing essential care to laboring patients.

Unit Information:

  • Number of Beds: 9 LDR, 3 OR, 4 bed PACU, 4 bed OBED, 2 antepartum
  • Number of Staff: 38
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1-2
  • EMR: Meditech/CPN

Typical Procedures:

  • Management of laboring patient
  • Circulating CS

Skill Set:

  • Must Have: 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
  • Preferred: C-EFM, Bilingual - Spanish

Best Personality Fit: Outgoing, willing to work collaboratively with colleagues and providers.

Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP

Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - royal blue

Floating Area(s): Postpartum

Unit Guidelines/Policies: 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule, on-call requirements may apply.
