Join a leading acute-care hospital in Marquette, MI, as a Travel RN specializing in Med/Surg. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a 225-bed specialty care hospital featuring a Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine services, and more. The facility is located in the central region of Michigan's upper peninsula, making it a vibrant community with access to Northern Michigan University.
Position Information:
- Role: RN
- Specialty: Medical/Surgical
- Shift: 7p - 7a
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: Rotating
- Required Certifications: ACLS
- Years of Experience: 2
- Patient Ratios: 5:1 to 6:1
- EHR: Cerner
Unit Information:
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric, ages 18 - 125
- Equipment: Telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pump, Bladder scanner, Dynamaps
Hiring Profile:
- Must Have Skills/Experience: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Preferred Skillset/Experience: Experience on a medical/surgical unit is preferred.
Dress Code:
- Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue (Navy is also acceptable)
- Fingernails should be kept clean and not excessive in length, in compliance with the Hand Hygiene Policy.
- Tattoos that may be considered offensive must be covered; excessive jewelry is not permitted.
