Join our team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) at a leading acute-care hospital in Atlanta, GA. We are seeking dedicated professionals with a passion for maternal and newborn care. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on providing exceptional care to patients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including pregnancy complications such as preeclampsia and diabetes.
• Assist in the delivery of newborns and support mothers during the labor process.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

**Requirements:**

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D).
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• NRP certification required.
• AWHONN certification preferred.

**Holiday Expectations:**

• MUST work 2 major holidays out of the following 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day.
• MUST also work 1 minor holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
