Travel RN - ICU | Portland, ME | Contract

This is a float pool ICU/IMC position. The ideal candidate must be able to read and interpret their own telemetry and have ICU acute care experience. Candidates must be willing to float to multiple different ICUs including MICU, SICU, CICU, Neuro ICU, as well as IMC levels of care.

  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 48
  • Weekend Hours: 75% weekends required
  • Call Requirements: No
  • Years of Experience: 3 years ICU experience
  • Float Requirements: Float to Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, CTICU based on HCP experience. Floating to any IMC at the organization, patient ratios 1:3 in IMC.
  • Patient Ratios: 1:2 (1:3 in IMC)
  • EMR: EPIC

Hiring Profile:

  • Must Have Skills/Experience: 3 years of ICU experience
  • Preferred Skillset/Experience: 3 years of ICU experience
  • Type of Patients on Unit: Basic ICU patients in each department such as sedated, intubated & pressors; high complexity patients such as CRRT are not included.
  • Personality Fit: Candidates must focus on outstanding patient care, team communication, and have a drive to excel as both a member of our organization and as individuals. Flexibility with assignments is essential, as candidates may take multiple different assignments in the same shift if needed.

  • Unacceptable Attire: Open-toed shoes (no crocs), jeans, clothing with large logos/prints, or any attire with profanity.
