Travel RN - Emergency Department (ER) | San Jose, CA | Contract

Join our team as a Travel RN in the Emergency Department (ER) at a leading acute-care hospital in San Jose, CA. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while providing critical care to patients in need. We are looking for dedicated professionals who thrive in high-pressure situations and are committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

Unit Information:

  • Number of Beds: 36
  • Number of Staff: 113
  • Patient Ratios: 4:1, with critical care patients at 1:1 or 2:1
  • Type of Equipment: Phillips
  • EMR: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile:

  • Must Have: At least 3-5 years of Emergency Department experience in an acute care hospital
  • Preferred: Charge nurse experience and prior travel/interim experience working in California

Typical Procedures Performed:

  • Stroke and STEMI center

Best Personality Fit: Team player

Required Certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS

Floating Areas: None

Dress Code: Scrubs (no specific color)

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Work every other weekend; on-call requirements may apply.
