Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals looking to make a difference in the lives of mothers and newborns. Our facility is known for its supportive environment and commitment to excellence in patient care.

Unit Information:

  • Number of Beds: 8 labor, 8 antepartum, 4 triage, 2 ORs (Mother baby unit has 27 beds, Level III NICU with 24 beds)
  • Number of Staff: 70+ employees in L&D
  • Patient Ratios: Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3
  • Type of Equipment: Standard L&D equipment, including NOVII wireless monitors, centricity central fetal strip surveillance throughout the unit
  • EMR: CPN, Meditech for order entry and labs

Typical Hiring Profile:

  • Must Have: Circulator for c-sections
  • Preferred: Primary baby catching ability

List of Typical Procedures Performed:

  • C-sections
  • Labor and delivery
  • Recoveries
  • Magnesium titration

Best Personality Fit: Self-motivated, energetic, team player

Required Certifications:

  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • BLS
  • C-EFM or AWHONN fetal monitoring

Floating Area(s): Mother baby for care of moms; Task nurse floating to other hospital units

Dress Code: Black scrubs, or black bottoms and pink tops

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Weekends rotating and on-call as needed.
