Join a leading acute-care hospital in Paris, TX, as a Night Shift Medical Technologist (MT) with a focus on laboratory services. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled MT/MLS credentialed professional with successful experience as a laboratory generalist. The shift runs from 9 PM to 5:30 AM, five days a week, providing essential services in a facility known for its advanced medical care.

The facility is a 154-bed hospital serving both Northeast Texas and Southeast Oklahoma, recognized as the most complex hospital within a 70-mile radius. It is a Level 3 Trauma Center and a Level 1 NICU, accredited by the Joint Commission as a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and an Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center. The hospital is also noted for being in the top 5% for the nation's orthopedic outcomes.

Unit Specifics:

• Patient Ratios: 1:5
• Unit Staffing: 1 Tech during day and afternoon shifts; 2 Techs at night
• Type of Equipment: Vitek transitioning to Microscan BacT/AlerT
• Documentation System: Meditech Client Server

Hiring Profile:

We are looking for an MT with extensive microbiology and send-out experience. Meditech Client Server experience is preferable. Candidates must have:

• Generalist Experience in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Basic Micro, and Send-out testing
• Solid bench tech experience

Certifications Required: MT/MLS
