Join a leading acute-care hospital in Sanford, NC, as a Travel RN in the Emergency Department. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing essential care to patients of all ages. The facility is a 137-bed acute care hospital, accredited by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. It is located in the heart of Northern Carolina, offering easy access to both the NC coast and the Blue Ridge Mountains, as well as proximity to Raleigh, Durham, and the Research Triangle region.

Position Information:

• Role: RN
• Specialty: Emergency Nursing
• Unit: Emergency Department
• Patient Ratios: 1:5
• Number of Beds: 21 (12 telemetry beds, 3 behavioral health beds, 5 fast track rooms)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency nursing care, including trauma and resuscitation.
• Administer IVs, IV drips, and oxygen demand support.
• Manage blood products and basic telemetry/EKG.
• Handle common diagnoses such as COPD, DKA, Sepsis, and Cardiac Emergencies.

Requirements:

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, de-escalation training (HWC, CPI or MAB), PALS
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in emergency nursing.
• Preferred Skills: Emergency Medicine, Psych ER experience.
• Education: ADN required.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced and dynamic, requiring a multi-tasking team player.
• Dress Code: Scrubs of any color; no open-toed footwear, spandex pants, or sweatshirts.
