Join our team as a Respiratory Therapist in the Operating Room at a leading acute-care hospital in McMinnville, OR. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fully accredited facility with a commitment to patient care and quality service. The facility features a 24-hour Emergency Department and is recognized for its excellence in healthcare.
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient settings and must possess the required certifications prior to starting. We are looking for a hardworking and independent professional who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures
- Monitor and assess patient respiratory status
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on respiratory health
**Requirements:**
- Required Certifications: BCLS
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Ability to work independently
**Unit Information:**
- Number of Beds: 50
- Patient Ratios: 4 to 1
- Equipment: GE, G5, T1, C1 vents, v60
- EHR: Meditech
