Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Contract RN in the Emergency Department (ED) in Austin, TX. Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 32+
• Number of Staff: 117
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Type of Equipment: EMR - Meditech

General Information:

The Emergency Department is staffed with a variety of professionals, including:

• Day Shift: 1 CNC, 6 RNs, 1 Medic, 1 PCT
• Mid Shift: 2 CNCs, 15 RNs, 2 Medics, 2 PCTs
• Night Shift: 1 CNC, 6 RNs, 1 Medic, 1 PCT

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Current TNCC certification (must have by start date)
• Current ENPC certification (must have by start date)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Greater than 2 years of experience in a similar role

Typical Procedures Performed:

• LP, Intubations, TNK
• Laceration repair, Suture removal, Splinting

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color: Navy Blue, Navy Blue zip-up sweater
• Not acceptable: Pullover sweatshirts
