As a Travel First Assist, you will be responsible for providing surgical assistance in the operating room, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety for patients. Your role will involve collaboration with surgeons and other healthcare team members to facilitate successful surgical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical procedures as a Certified First Assist or Certified Surgical Assist.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations in the operating room.
• Provide support to the surgical team, including preparation and maintenance of the surgical environment.
• Float between campuses as needed to meet patient care demands.

Requirements:

• Certification as a First Assist or Surgical Assistant (BLS required).
• Experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
• Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) will also be accepted.

This position requires a commitment to a 13-week contract with a day shift from 06:30 to 17:00, including rotation for call coverage on evenings and weekends. Join us in providing exceptional surgical care to patients in a dynamic environment.
