Join a leading acute-care hospital in Nashville, TN, as a Travel Med Surg RN on the 3rd Floor. This is a contract position with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to support our Med Surg unit.

Unit Specifics:

Number of Beds: 25
Patient Ratios: Days: 5-6:1; Nights: 6:1
Unit Staffing Description: Days: Unit Secretary, 2-3 PCT; Nights: 2-3 PCT
Type of Equipment: Sara Steady, Wound Vac, Tele Health, Virtual Sitter equipment, remote telemetry
Documentation System: Meditech

Scheduling Requirements: Every other Weekend (Saturday, Sunday), weekdays flexible.

Floating Policy: PRN, most often float between Med Surg units.

Patient Experience Requirements: BSSR, Hourly Rounding.

Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set:

Must Have: Strong assessment skills, experience with IV Pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing cabinets.
Advanced Skills Needed: Procedures performed on unit: IV and foley catheter placement.
Certifications Required: BLS, NIH, CPI preferred.

Dress Code: Required uniform: Black or Royal Blue scrubs.

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit-specific policies and guidelines.

Awards/Recognition: Please include anything that you would like prospective candidates to be aware of, such as links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards.
