RRT - PICU | Durham, NC | Contract

Join a leading healthcare provider as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) specializing in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Durham, NC. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional care to our young patients.

Minimum Years of Experience: Must have at least 2 years of experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics along with emergency department (ED) experience.

Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS

Required Skills:

  • Level IV NICU Experience
  • Experience with High Frequency Jet Ventilator and Oscillating Ventilator
  • Knowledge of pediatric cardiac anomalies

Licensure: NC RRT in hand is required as it takes 2-4 weeks to obtain.

First-Timer Friendly: Yes

Local Candidates: Yes (Local Rate: $5 less, considered within 75 miles)

Weekend Requirement: Yes, 6 weekend shifts per schedule. The schedule is published in 6-week blocks.

On-Call Requirement: Not Applicable

Orientations: Bi-weekly

Additional Details: Flu vaccines are required. No exemptions or declinations accepted! Travelers will be required to pass EKG/Telemetry exam onsite.
