Join our team as a Respiratory Therapist in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at a leading healthcare facility in Metairie, LA. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RRT with a passion for providing exceptional care to our youngest patients. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where your expertise will make a significant impact on the lives of infants and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care to neonatal patients in the NICU.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and patient management.
• Participate in rotating schedules and weekend shifts as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Required Certifications: BLS, CRT or RRT, NRP, LA State License.
• Preferred Certifications: ACLS, PALS.
• Availability for rotating shifts, including every other weekend and holiday.
• No float requirement, but flexibility to work in all areas is necessary.
