Join our team as a Travel RN specializing in Telemetry at a leading acute-care hospital in Overland Park, KS. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a brand new Cardiac Progressive Stepdown unit, providing care for patients with cardiac conditions. We are committed to excellence and are proud to be recognized for our outstanding nursing team.
Unit Profile:
- Number of Beds: 26
- Patient Ratios: 1:4
- Unit Staffing Description: Charge Nurse, Bedside Nurse, PCT, Unit Secretary
- Type of Equipment: Pacemakers
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling Requirements: Self-scheduling; weekends are three weekend shifts in a four-week period on day shift and four weekend shifts in a four-week period on night shift
- On Call Requirements: None
- Floating Policy: Float to Tele, M/S, OSS
Patient Experience Requirements: Hospital Specifics
- Certifications: None required
- Dress Code: Scrubs (Royal blue top, black pants)
Hiring Profile:
- Must Have: Telemetry experience
- Advanced Skills Needed: Background managing cardiac patients post-procedure; titration of IV medication (cardiac, heparin, insulin, etc.)
