Join us for an exciting opportunity as a Travel RN specializing in Med Surg and Telemetry at a leading acute-care hospital in Lake Havasu City, AZ. This contract position offers a chance to make a significant impact in patient care while enjoying the beautiful outdoor recreation and serene lake scenery that the area has to offer.

Position Information:

• Facility Type: Community hospital and regional referral center
• Accreditations: Joint Commission Accredited, Certified Chest Pain Center, Level Trauma 3
• Number of Beds: 171
• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the Med Surg and Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float to other units (IMC, ED) as needed.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• ACLS certification is mandatory.
• Ability to handle a 6 patient ratio.
• Compassionate and positive attitude is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Charge and preceptor experience is a plus.

• Scrub Color: Black (top and bottom)
• Unacceptable Attire: Open shoes
