Join a leading acute-care hospital in Athens, TN as a Travel RN in the Med/Surg unit. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population while enjoying the vibrant community of Athens. Our facility is dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of our community members and is known for its supportive environment.

**Orientation is Bi-weekly, on Mondays. Candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered Travel.** All Travelers must have REQUIRED certifications prior to start. The facility reserves the right to require certifications not listed. Please refer to the LPNT checklist for the most up-to-date requirements.

The Athens campus provides emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services through its acute care facility. Our Medical/Surgical unit is currently expanding, with a maximum patient load of 18 patients, looking to go up to 24. The patient ratio is 6:1, ensuring that you can provide the best care possible.

• Patient Population: Adults and Geriatric (No pediatrics)
• Equipment: Bladder scanner, glucometers, etc.
• EHR: Medhost
• Supervisor: Kelley Dockery, Director of MedSurg/ICU

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: BLS
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Critical care thinking
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Pneumonia, CVA, CP, post-surgical, electrolyte imbalances, DVT, etc.
• Personality Fit: Get along with others; we are all like family here.
• Required Education: Certifications/licensure required to work as an RN in TN.
