Join our team as a Travel RN specializing in Operating Room (OR) services at a leading acute-care hospital in Las Vegas, NV. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on cardiovascular surgeries.
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 23 ORs, 4 CVOR
- Number of Staff: 20 CVOR staff members
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Type of Equipment: 1 hybrid room
- EMR: Meditech
Typical Procedures Performed:
- CABG
- Valve surgery
- TAVR
- Vascular/Thoracic
Skill Set:
- Required: 2 years of CV experience (candidates without this will not be considered)
- Preferred: Pediatric experience
Best Personality Fit: Friendly, easy-going, hardworking, and a multi-tasker.
Required Certifications: RN: ACLS, BLS, PALS
Dress Code: Scrubs provided by the facility.
On-Call Shifts: 2 on-call shifts per week and 1 on-call weekend per month. Scheduled the same as full-time staff to meet the needs of the facility; may vary per week.
