Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in the Step Down unit in Birmingham, AL. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting, providing high-quality care to patients transitioning from intensive care. As a valued member of the healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in patient recovery and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Step Down unit.
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess their condition regularly.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and recovery.
Requirements:
- Active RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Submissions lacking all certifications in hand will be declined.
