Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) in Steamboat Springs, CO. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills and experience will make a significant impact on the lives of patients and their families.
Position / Specialty: RN L&D
Shift: 3x12s, Night shift (19:00 - 07:00)
Experience Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery RN is required, with experience as a circulator for C/S. A teaching attitude and being a team player is a must. Rural healthcare experience is preferred, but first-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Weekend Requirements: Yes, per unit needs - a minimum of 5 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
Certifications Required: NRP, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate (HARD REQUIREMENT: please have in hand or provide proof that you are signed up for the class), and a valid CO or compact RN license.
On-call Requirements: No.
Floating Requirements: Yes, this traveler will need to float within scope to meet facility needs and float between like units.
Charting: Epic.
Special Requirements: Circulator experience; experience in clinical leadership and a desire to mentor RNs is preferred.
Unit Information: The unit consists of 10 beds with 5 Labor and Delivery and 5 Postpartum rooms.
Local Rate: $95 if the traveler resides within 75 miles of the facility.
