Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse in Charlottesville, VA. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to float across various Med Surg and Telemetry units, adapting to the dynamic needs of the facility. You will be involved in providing exceptional patient care in diverse areas including Geriatric/Palliative Care, Orthopedics & Trauma, Medicine, Surgical, Neurology, Epilepsy, Stroke, Acute Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Heme/Onc, Solid Organ Transplant, Thoracic Cardiovascular, Digestive Health, and the Acute Care Special Pathogens Unit (COVID). Please note that this role does not include critical care or intermediate care units.

As a Med Surg/Telemetry RN, you will be expected to work 36 or 48 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday required. You must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays and adhere to the facility's float policy. While block scheduling cannot be guaranteed, the flexibility to accommodate time off requests is available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care across multiple units.
• Adapt to varying patient needs in acute care settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Virginia (or pending).
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records system.
