Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Med/Surg RN in Athens, TN! We are proud to offer a full range of services to meet the healthcare needs of our community members. Our facility provides emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services through its acute care facility, ensuring a supportive environment for both staff and patients.

As an RN in our Medical/Surgical unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients. You will be part of a dedicated team that values collaboration and a family-like atmosphere.

Position Information:

• Unit Profile: Medical/Surgical
• Trauma Level: 3
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Patient Ratios: 6:1
• Number of Beds: Currently max patient load is 18, looking to go up to 24.
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Pneumonia, CVA, CP, post-surgical care, electrolyte imbalances, DVT, etc.

Requirements:

• Required Certifications: BLS
• Years of Experience: 1+
• Education: Certifications/licensure required to work as an RN in TN.

All Travelers must have required certifications prior to start. The facility reserves the right to require certifications not listed. Please refer to the LPNT checklist for the most up-to-date requirements.

Orientation is bi-weekly, on Mondays. Candidates must be 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel positions. All clinical staff on assignment in the State of Tennessee must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to the assignment start date, with results required prior to start.
