Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general medical-surgical inpatient nursing care.
• Occasionally care for non-critical pediatric patients.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6.
• Participate in floating and call as required.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a Med-Surg setting.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS & PALS certifications are preferred.
• Fingerprinting for all NM travelers is required; please ensure your agency is registered with the state of New Mexico as this process can take several weeks.

• Blocked scheduling may be accommodated; please include this in your submission.
• 48-hour guarantees may be accommodated; please include this in your submission.
• Scrub color: Any color.
• EMR system: MedHost.
• Note: There is no on-call schedule for Med-Surg; nurses may be put on call only for census flex prior to the start of a scheduled shift if the census is low.
