Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Critical Care in Pittsfield, MA. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient-centered care. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the CCU/ICU setting.

In this role, you will work 12-hour night shifts, with the possibility of floating to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed. The position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to the needs of the unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Massachusetts (including Temporary Nursing Service Agency License).
• Experience in Critical Care or ICU settings preferred.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Please note: Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload. RTO requests after upload/during interview will not be approved. No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted. Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two blocks if scheduled/needed during the holiday season.

Dress code is personal scrubs of any color. There will be an 8-hour non-billable orientation prior to starting the assignment. Holiday and overtime multipliers are at 1.25%.
