Join a leading acute-care hospital in Boston, MA, as a Respiratory Therapist in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work with critically ill infants in a high-acuity environment. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional respiratory care to our smallest patients.

In this role, you will work 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend and holiday required. We welcome both local and travel candidates, with local rates available for those residing less than 50 miles from the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver respiratory care in a Level III NICU setting.
• Participate in the Code Blue team and make ventilator decisions based on patient assessments and laboratory results.
• Utilize lung protective ventilation strategies.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of recent experience in a Level 1 trauma facility.
• Recent critical care experience in both MICU and SICU.
• Familiarity with Drager XL and v500 Ventilators is preferred.

Certifications:

• RRT certification.
• MA Respiratory Care license.
• BLS certification.
• NPS and/or ACCS certification preferred.
