Join a leading acute-care hospital as an IMC Registered Nurse in Madison, WI. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the Thoracic Surgery unit. As an IMC RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a telemetry oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown setting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing care for patients with complex medical needs in the IMC/IMU/PCU/Stepdown unit.
• Monitoring telemetry patients and responding to changes in their condition.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educating patients and their families about their conditions and care plans.

Requirements:

• WI RN or compact RN license required.
• BLS & ACLS certifications from AHA only.
• Telemetry oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required.
• Experience with ventilators and transplant patients is necessary.
• Must be willing to work every other weekend and some holidays, including 12/24 and 12/25.
• Limited RTO availability during the weeks of 12/22 to 1/5.

Travelers will be required to pass a telemetry test prior to starting. This position offers the flexibility of 4x12-hour shifts if desired.
