Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Step Down Registered Nurse in Cleveland, OH. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Step Down unit. You will have the chance to float to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department (ED) to care for the same patient population.

Shifts may vary based on operational needs, with a commitment to honor preferred shifts whenever possible. The facility reserves the right to rotate shifts if necessary. As a Step Down RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients transitioning from higher levels of care.

Requirements:

• Must have 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
• Must hold a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand.
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Travelers must work at least every other holiday.
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required.
