Join a leading healthcare provider as a CT Tech specializing in Radiology and Cardiology in Watsonville, CA. This contract position offers a unique opportunity for a skilled technologist to contribute to patient care in a dynamic environment. We welcome first-time candidates with at least 1 year of experience in CT/X-Ray technology.

Certifications Required:

• ARRT CT
• ARRT R
• BLS
• CRT

Key Responsibilities: As a CT Tech, you will perform diagnostic X-ray and CT examinations for various patient types including emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and surgical patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Portable radiography
• Operating room imaging support
• Fluoroscopy assistance as assigned
• Non-contrast and contrast-enhanced CT
• CT angiography
• Trauma and stroke imaging
• IV contrast administration
• Patient screening and venipuncture (where qualified)
• Image transfer and documentation

The night-shift technologist must be able to work independently, prioritize emergent examinations, and communicate critical workflow concerns appropriately.

Equipment: You will work with digital radiography equipment, portable X-ray units, C-arm fluoroscopy equipment, multidetector CT scanners, power injectors, patient monitoring equipment, contrast emergency supplies, Carestream PACS, and Medhost EHR. Equipment-specific orientation will be provided.

Additional Information:

• RTO must be submitted up front.
• Overtime is calculated after 8 hours (per CA law), after 40 hours, or after 48 hours on 48-hour contracts.
• Call-off policy allows for 3 call-offs per 13-week assignment at no cost.
• Holiday, Overtime, and Call Back pay is at 1.5x and 1.4x.
