We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg and Telemetry for a contract position in Massena, NY. This role is perfect for RNs looking to make a difference in patient care while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Shift will be 7p-7a with weekend coverage required every other week. The unit accepts first-time travelers, and candidates must have at least 2 years of experience. Locals are accepted if they reside more than 50 miles from the facility. Epic experience is required.

Patient Ratios: Days 1:6; Nights 1:7; Weekends 1:8

Patient Diagnoses: COPD, Pneumonia, non-specific abdominal pain, cellulitis, chest pain rule out.

Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS

• Starting and maintaining IVs

• Substance Withdrawal
• BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Nasal Cannula
• Non-invasive airway management
• Oxygen administration
• Oxygen tanks
• Isolation Precautions/PPE

Scrubs: Any nursing uniform color is acceptable.
