Join a leading acute-care hospital in Houston, TX, as a Travel Occupational Therapist specializing in Rehabilitation. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic inpatient rehabilitation unit with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 20
• Number of Staff: 8 full-time therapists
• Patient Ratios: 4-6 patients per day for 30-120 minute sessions, totaling 6-6.5 hours of patient care
• Type of Equipment: Hoyer, lite gait, sara stand, standard hospital beds, standard PT/OT equipment
• EMR: Meditech Expanse

Typical Procedures Performed:

• Chest tubes/jp drains
• Wound Vacs
• Trachs/PEGS

Skill Set:

• Must Have: State of Texas Occupational Therapy license, CPR/BLS
• Preferred: Inpatient Rehabilitation experience, Neuro Rehab experience

Best Personality Fit: Efficient communication and flexibility in scheduling for patient needs.

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday every week, with occasional changes approved by PD. Must work 1 major holiday and 1 minor holiday during rotation.

Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - navy blue.
