Join a leading healthcare provider as a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical in Mattoon, IL. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a 21-bed general medical observation unit, caring for patients with conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, infections, and UTIs. You will be expected to be comfortable with Bi-Pap and high flow oxygen therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med Surg setting.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Every other weekend availability is required.
• No local candidates; must have a verifiable permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility.
