Lying just inland between the State's coastal mountain ranges and the Sierra Nevada Mountains, a leading acute-care hospital has been serving the Central Valley since 2011. We are comprised of a 49-bed acute care hospital and 60 clinics in 27 rural communities with primary and specialty care services. Reedley is a perfect location for outdoor enthusiasts as it is located in the central San Joaquin Valley portion of California, close to Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Job Summary: Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Job Requirements:

• Education and Work Experience: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
  • Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA
  • Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per policy: Required
  • Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Required in CA, if employee operates fluoroscopy equipment
  • Venipuncture certification: Required in CA, if employee performs venipuncture to administer contrast materials

Essential Functions:

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information.
• Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
