Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Travel RN in the Labor and Delivery department. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced RNs looking to make a difference in the lives of mothers and newborns. In this role, you will provide essential care in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds: 12
• Patient Ratios: 1:2
• Unit Staffing: RNs, unit secretary, OR techs
• Documentation System: CPN, Meditach
• Scheduling Requirements: 3 weekend shifts, 1 call shift for RNs, 2 call shifts for techs, 3 12-hour shifts
• Floating Policy: Travelers float first
• Patient Experience Requirements: Shared decision making

Hospital Specifics:

• Certifications Required: NRP, ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Intermediate (not advanced) or CEFM for RNs; FA certification for OR techs

Requested Skill Set:

• Labor and Delivery Experience
• Must have: 2 years L&D experience
• Advanced Skills Needed: Care of the laboring patient, care of the newborn immediately after delivery, circulate and recover c/s patients

Procedures Performed on Unit:

• Vaginal deliveries
• C-sections
• D&C
• Cerclage
• Epidural anesthesia
• Tub labor

Dress Code: Scrubs are not provided by the hospital. Required colors are Ceil Blue, Navy Blue, or Gray.
