We are seeking a dedicated ER Registered Nurse for a contract position in New London, CT. This role is specifically for winter coverage for one 10-week assignment, with local radius restrictions waived. The selected candidate must start by 11/27/2026 and will not be able to take holiday RTO, with a maximum of 5 days RTO allowed.

As an ER Registered Nurse, you will be cross-trained in both the Emergency Department (ED) psychiatric area and the main ED. While primarily scheduled in the psychiatric area, you may float to the main ED if volumes are low. This facility is a short-term acute care, Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds, providing comprehensive care for medical and psychiatric patients of all ages.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department
• Assessing and triaging patients with various medical and psychiatric conditions
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Maintaining accurate patient records using Epic charting system

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Epic experience is mandatory
