Join a leading healthcare provider as a Cath Lab Tech specializing in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures in Baltimore, MD. We are seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in cardiac catheterization and vascular procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will make a significant impact on patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Monitor and scrub during cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Recognize life-threatening dysrhythmias and maintain a sterile field.
• Conduct adult diagnostic catheterizations, cardiac stent placements, and PCI/PTCA procedures.
• Utilize equipment such as McKesson monitoring systems and Philips X-ray.

Requirements:

• 1 year of Cath Lab Tech experience is required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• RCIS or ARRT certification is required.
• Active Maryland license is required.
• Basic EKG assessment skills are necessary.
• Strong vascular procedure experience is required.
• Experience with TAVR, AAA repair, and STEMI cases is expected.
• Pacemaker and defibrillator insertion/removal experience is required.
• AICD insertion and programming experience is required.
• Peripheral angiography experience is required.

Additional Information:

• One weekend of call per month is required.
• Approximately 5-6 nights of call per month are required.
• One pre-approved time-off request is permitted per contract.
• Scrubs are provided; scrub color is dark blue.
