Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Radiology Tech in Monroe, NC. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a high-volume setting with a commitment to patient-centered care. You will be part of a team that handles an average of 325 patients per day across various modalities, including ED, Inpatient, and Outpatient areas.

Department Information:

• 182 licensed beds
• Trauma Level IV Designation
• Teaching Hospital
• Chest Pain Center
• Stroke Center
• Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• All modalities will require photo ID – collected during compliance process
• NC State Licensure is not required
• Certifications needed based on modality:
  • Rad Tech: BLS; ARRT(R)
  • CT Tech: BLS; ARRT(R) (CT)
  • Dual Modality CT/DX: BLS; ARRT (R)(CT)
  • MRI Tech: BLS; ARRT(R) or NMTCB, ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
  • US Tech: BLS; ARDMS (no specific anatomy cert required) or ARRT
  • Nuc Med Tech: BLS; ARRT-N or NMTCB

Skills: Varies based on modality – discussed during interview.

Technology/Equipment:

• EMR: EPIC
• Department specific Equipment: Siemens, GE

Orientation:

• NEO – online courses
• 3-5 days departmental depending on modality

Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: depends on position – discussed during interview
• Call Required: Depends on modality – discussed during interview
• Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
• RTO: Manager approval
• Shift times: Varies with modality. This will be listed on the e-form request
• Schedule cycle: every 4 weeks
