Join a leading healthcare provider as a Travel CT Technologist in Texarkana, TX. This contract position offers a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment. As a CT Technologist, you will perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures, support other imaging technologists, and facilitate smooth patient flow.

The CT Technologist will demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed. You will troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in quality assurance, and resolve issues related to image processing and the archiving system. Ongoing education, safety, and technical advancements within your scope of licensure are expected. You will adhere to and maintain expected imaging competencies as outlined by management. Strong behavior and communication skills that align with the organization's mission, values, and culture are essential.

• Provide meaningful assistance to radiologists and referring physicians to promote exceptional physician satisfaction.
• Protect patient confidentiality and only disclose information as necessary for job duties.
• Adapt patient assessment and treatment methods to accommodate individual patient needs.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of care as required by regulatory entities.
• Perform examinations/procedures to assist in patient throughput within the scope of licensure and competencies.
• Work other shifts and at other campuses as needed.
• Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS.
• Follow PACS downtime procedures and escalate issues as needed.
• Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions to the Director/Manager and/or Biomedical personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Radiography (R) by ARRT, or
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology by ARRT or NMTCB, or
  • Computed Tomography (CT) by ARRT or NMTCB required.
  • State Licensure: Texas MRT by TMB required.
  • BLS certification (AHA only) required.
