Job Shift: Days

Job Type: Full Time

Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

Performs specialized cardiovascular procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, including but not limited to: records hemodynamic pressures and computerized data, operates special X-ray equipment, burns compact disks, assists the invasive/interventional cardiologist vascular surgeon, electrophysiologist with procedures using sterile technique and has knowledge of cardiac medications.

• Reports for scheduled shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
• Attends and participates in meetings and is responsible for information.
• Adheres to Corporate, Regional, Hospital and Departmental policy and procedure 100% of the time.

EDUCATION:

• Minimum: Graduate of accredited program in Radiology Technology,

EXPERIENCE:  

• One year Interventional Lab/Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory experience preferred;

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION: 

• Radiologic Technologist
• Radiologic Technology Registration/Licensure as required (ARRT)
• Florida License CRT
• RCIS within 12 months of hire required.
• AHA ACLS Certification
• AHA BLS Certification

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language. 
• Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment. 
• Basic computer skills
