Job Shift: Days
Job Type: Full Time
The Cath Lab Tech Performs specialized cardiovascular procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, including but not limited to: records hemodynamic pressures and computerized data, operates special X-ray equipment, burns compact disks, assists the invasive/interventional cardiologist vascular surgeon, electrophysiologist with procedures using sterile technique and has knowledge of cardiac medications.
EDUCATION:
Graduate of accredited, competency-based program in radiologic technology
EXPERIENCE:
2 years’ experience in an acute care setting preferred
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
Radiologic Technology Registration/Licensure as required (ARRT)
Florida License CRT
RCIS within 12 months of hire required
AHA ACLS Certification
AHA BLS Certification
