Seven Healthcare is seeking a Travel PACU RN for an assignment in Asheville, NC. This role offers three 12-hour day shifts per week (36 hours) with a weekly pay rate of $2,000.

Key Responsibilities of the PACU Travel Nurse

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical and procedural sedation.
• Monitor vital signs, airway status, pain levels, and overall stability.
• Manage post-operative medications, including pain control and sedation reversal.
• Identify and respond promptly to post-anesthesia complications.
• Educate patients and families on recovery expectations and discharge instructions.
• Communicate effectively with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and perioperative teams.
• Ensure accurate documentation in accordance with facility standards.
• Support patient safety during all phases of post-operative recovery.

Requirements for the PACU Role

• Active North Carolina/Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred depending on unit.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent PACU or critical care experience.
• Strong assessment skills and ability to respond quickly in high-acuity situations.
