Seven Healthcare is seeking a Travel CVICU RN for an assignment in Nashville, TN. This position offers three 12-hour night shifts per week (36 hours) with a weekly pay rate of $2,050.

Key Responsibilities of the CVICU Travel Nurse

• Provide highly specialized care to post-cardiac surgery and critically ill cardiac patients.
• Monitor and manage ventilators, vasoactive drips, invasive lines, and advanced hemodynamics.
• Respond rapidly to cardiac and respiratory emergencies.
• Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and the cardiovascular care team.
• Manage post-operative recovery for CABG, valve replacement, ECMO, LVAD, and related cases (unit dependent).
• Administer medications, sedation, and advanced therapies with precision.
• Educate patients and families on recovery expectations and complex treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with facility standards.

Requirements for the CVICU Role

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of recent CVICU or high-acuity ICU experience.
• Strong critical-care clinical judgment and ability to manage complex cardiac conditions.
