Seven Healthcare is pleased to offer a travel opportunity for a CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) in Raleigh, NC. This assignment consists of 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, totaling 36 hours, with a weekly pay of $2,250.

Key Responsibilities of the CVICU RN:
Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery patients
Monitor and assess hemodynamic status, cardiac rhythms, and vital signs using advanced monitoring equipment
Care for patients recovering from open-heart surgery, vascular procedures, and other complex cardiac interventions
Administer medications, vasoactive drips, blood products, and other critical therapies as prescribed
Operate and manage ventilators, chest tubes, temporary pacemakers, and other advanced life-support equipment
Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation while adhering to hospital policies and evidence-based practice standards
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of recent CVICU nursing experience
Active North Carolina RN license or compact multistate RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred if required by the facility
Experience caring for post-cardiac surgery patients, ventilated patients, and those requiring hemodynamic monitoring
Strong critical-thinking, communication, and clinical assessment skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity critical care environment
