Seven Healthcare is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department for an assignment in Blacksburg, VA. This Emergency Department RN travel position offers three 12-hour night shifts per week (36 hours) with a weekly pay rate of $2,000.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

• Provide direct care to patients with acute medical, trauma, or urgent health needs.
• Perform triage, assess patient conditions, and prioritize care based on severity.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency interventions safely.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatment, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with ED and facility standards.
• Promote patient safety and deliver evidence-based emergency nursing care.

Requirements for the Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department Role

• Active Virginia RN license or eligibility.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience.
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
