Seven Healthcare is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse – CVICU for an assignment in Reston, VA. This CVICU RN travel position offers three 12-hour day shifts per week (36 hours) with a weekly pay rate of $2,400.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Registered Nurse – CVICU

• Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients, including post-cardiac surgery and complex cardiovascular conditions.
• Monitor hemodynamics, cardiac rhythms, and patient stability throughout the shift.
• Administer medications, titrate drips, and perform complex interventions safely.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and ongoing care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with CVICU and facility standards.
• Promote patient safety and deliver evidence-based critical care.

Requirements for the Travel Registered Nurse – CVICU Role

• Active Virginia RN license or eligibility.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications.
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent CVICU or ICU nursing experience.
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
